Ozone layer fac

In Stephen Leahy’s article, “Climate Change: Chemical lobby weakening ozone treaty” he states that the damage in the ozone layer puts at risk the health of all the people around the world, plants and other species. First, the author starts discussing about the big hole in the ozone layer, which is situated in Antarctica. Also he mentioned the new skin cancer problems that are growing as a result of the destruction of ozone layer. Second, the article says that many years ago some nations took actions about the ozone layer with something called the Montreal Protocol. Third, he explained one of the most ozone-damaging chemicals and how it was changed for alternative sources which work efficiently. In conclusion there are a lot of factors that are hurting the ozone layer and also many countries that are taking actions, but it is not enough.

The environment, a big topic to talk about, has an important side. It is the ozone layer. The entire world around has this famous problem. Some developed countries have been taking actions in order to reduce its destruction, but it is not enough actions still. The ozone layer destruction will keep going with the Montreal Protocol or without it.

First, it supposed that the Montreal Protocol was created in order to protect the environment from the pollution and destruction threat. Inside this, there are the humans, animals, plants, and species health. Mainly, the ozone layer that with its destruction affects directly any kind of life on the earth.

Coupled with this, there are the countries that participated in this meeting like Argentina, United States, and Canada. Some of them are developed countries that try to help with the ozone layer conservation and provide the entire necessary things to do it. In another side of the map, there are underdeveloped countries located in Africa, South America, Center America and some zones of Asia, where the caution for the environment protection doesn’t exist. It’s mean that these countries are not involved in the Montreal Protocol.

In other way, looking the earth. In the oceans precisely is obvious that the level of the sea is increasing each year considerably in comparison with many years ago. Developed countries can take control of their wastes, but isn’t the same control in countries with different priorities, such as war or internal political problems. Also this fact is related with the global warming. Days hotter and colder than on other ages are waiting for us. It is noticeable that the entire world had reached a developed level where the minds of big CEO’s and low businesspeople are damaged and they don’t care about the environment. In addition to this, it is possible to make certain that 70% of the global population is damaging the environment, precisely the ozone layer.

In summary, it is a real fact that the damaging of the earth has taken place since a long time ago is taking place in our present and will keep taking place in the future. The Montreal Protocol is just an action in order to get caution, but the safety of the ozone layer and all the environment depends not just on meetings of important political people, it requires the action of all the population in the entire world.
